Luis Royo (born 1954), is a Spanish painter behind many stories and covers for Rambla, Heavy Metal or Cimoc. In 2015, he was awarded the prestigious Inkpot Prize at the San Diego International Salon for his work. Malefic Time is a story of anticipation that begins in 2038, when the world has sunk into chaos. The artist offers us here a very sensual vision of Luz, her heroine. The velvety appearance of his touch offers an ingenious contrast with Malefic, the formidable weapon by which Luz tries to avenge the death of her partner.

Lot 78 – Blade and Plucked Flowers
Romulo Royo (born in 1976) is a Spanish artist with multiple talents whose paintings, sculptures, photographs and video installations have been exhibited all over the world. In particular, he is responsible for the great fresco that decorates Medevedev’s dome in Russia. Developing a clean aesthetic over the years, his work skillfully mixes fantasy with a very current science fiction, constantly confronting the real and the fantastic. A figurative language based on primitive compositions with a powerful touch, carried by a delicate chromatic palette.
